Delivering Adaptive, Multi-Channel Support at Scale
In this 30 minute presentation, InsideTrack’s Research Programs Director will introduce the concept of adaptive student support and provide research-based examples of how multi-channel communication and nudge principles can help improve student outcomes. Attendees will gain an understanding of emerging insights and best practices, including a framework for analytics, as well as practical solutions to bring back to their institutions. Finally, real-life examples of multi-channel student interactions will bring to life what’s possible in efforts to deliver mass-customization.
Labster: An Overview
Labster is an advanced virtual lab simulator designed to support teaching of undergraduate science through blended learning (www.labster.com). This webinar will cover in more detail what Labster is, how it can be used, and the published research papers, as well as the future research questions. We will also cover the nature and goals of the pilot project aimed for Summer and Fall 2016 across SUNY, supported by SUNY System office and the grant funding Labster has received.
